No need for BUGA

The last few months have taught me a few lessons. One of them is the fact that it’s so easy to get carried away with life.
You work Mondays to Fridays and still have a side hustle. You’ve not sewn Bola’s dress and the wedding is this weekend.
That’s your foremost thought as you ride to work early Monday morning. The thought that fuel is scarce again is scaring you. To go and queue now, is war!
What about Chika at the office? No words would express how upset you feel because you almost finished the dress but still didn’t, and you know that she needs it for her date on Tuesday.
You’re probably calculating how much it’ll cost your business because you’re going to have to bribe her with free delivery at the last minute so that she wouldn’t be so mad.
We know that you couldn’t get her clothes done on time because of the poor electricity—no light to iron.
So much to do! So little time!
Let’s not forget devotional. “Oh God! You see my heart but if I don’t get just a little more sleep, I swear, I’ll give up”.
What’s more, they’ve banned bikes and you have to sit in Lagos traffic for 2 hours instead of the 30mins that boarding a bike would’ve taken you.
Is this some sort of punishment or your village people?.
It’s so easy to get carried away and keep counting your losses unless you stop, take a chill pill, and count your blessings instead.
You’ll find that it’ll take you lesser time than it will to count your losses unless you’re ungrateful.
While you acknowledge these successes, don’t forget that it’s prideful to think that it’s all YOU when we both know that it’s all GOD!
No need for Buga.

How about a little thanksgiving now?
